the detail in this is amazing!
i applaud and bow to your work!

i was wondering if her raised thigh is suppose to look like that on the bottom? It looks strange to me.

Did you draw her first and then the back ground, or vice versa when drawing this piece?

The thigh is wrong, it is from two years ago! Now my anatomy is a little better, but I need to study more.
I used to do first a big sketch, separating the people from the background, than I make first the people than go to the back. This is the processing that I am doing today, but I am only drawing at the photoshop.

did you go somewhere to learn you anatomy, or was it self taught?

also, on your buildings/background(which you do so lovely in your work, btw), i'm guessing you use a ruler for it?

Self taught by books! I was reading two about anatomy, but in the last 5 months I got so many commissions that didnīt have time to study.

By that time I used to use ruler. These days I am doing in the photoshop, and it is easier and faster.

The last one that is not mature content all done in Photoshop:

yea, i like messing with photoshop, but prefer using real materials. using photoshop 7.0 gets sketchy at times and have yet to master my little wacom tablet. i have only done 1 actual piece in photoshop:

Do you have any recommended books i could check out?

Let just say that will take a lot of studies and book, the learning never ends. This books are good:

Human Anatomy for artists - Eliot Goldfinger

Dynamic Anatomy - Burne Hogart

and

Anatomy a Complete Guide for artists by Joseph Sheppard.

But it is necessary to draw to people bodies. Be from muscle magazine or nude pics.
